We fully agree; SMS is the most effective and most frequently used mobile service available today, but because it is not the newest form of communication in comparison to apps, it tends to be overlooked.

DOTGO Launches at DEMO
Posted: Tuesday, September 29th, 2009Scientific Media, Inc. is proud to announce that the DOTGO mobile publishing platform was launched at the prestigious DEMO launch venue in San Diego, California on September 23, 2009.
The DEMO conference event took place at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina from Monday, September 21 through Wednesday, September 23 and was attended by representatives of over 75 of the leading consumer, business, and trade global media outlets. The event was also broadcast live online to over 230,000 viewers in 80 countries around the world.
DOTGO was kicked off at 11:49 PDT on Wednesday, September 23 with a six-minute demonstration of the product by company co-founders Stefan Gromoll and Kenneth M. Lanzetta. Check out a video of the DOTGO demonstration here:
DOTGO also unveiled a brand new web site and logo coincident with the launch.
